940,000 Indians live with Type 1 Diabetes. Less than 1% can afford a pump. We are building the IY-1 — a medical-grade insulin pump at a fraction of what imported options cost today.
Insulin pump therapy dramatically improves outcomes for T1D patients — better time in range, fewer hypoglycemic episodes, improved quality of life. Yet almost no Indian family can afford one.
Global brands have no incentive to reduce prices for emerging markets.
More than half of Indian households with diabetes cannot afford even basic insulin, let alone a pump.
Existing brands serve only 6–8 metro cities. Tier 2 and Tier 3 India is entirely left out.
Insulin Yogi is a social entrepreneurship venture built to change this equation for every Indian family.
India's first affordable, medically capable insulin pump — designed from the ground up for Indian patients, conditions, and budgets.

"There are 940,000 T1D patients in India. For every child who gets a pump, there are 99 who cannot. Insulin Yogi exists to change this equation."— Insulin Yogi Mission Statement
We are a small, mission-driven team building India's most affordable insulin pump. If you want your work to matter — to the 940,000 children and adults living with Type 1 Diabetes in India — we'd like to meet you.
Own the electromechanical design of the IY-1 pump from current prototype through design freeze, verification, and transfer to manufacturing. This is a hands-on technical leadership role — you will be the primary design owner of the pump's mechanical, electrical, and systems architecture.
Build our Quality Management System from scratch, own verification and validation, drive standards compliance, and lead the CDSCO Class C product certification process. You will be the single point of ownership for quality, testing, and regulatory — planning it, executing it, and getting us through certification.
Be among the first to receive pricing, availability updates, and partnership opportunities. We welcome investors, CSR partners, hospitals, NGOs, and medical professionals.
